Haley’s 2024 campaign garnered over $7M in Q2.
Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley raises over $7 million in second quarter
Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley has made a significant financial stride in her 2024 campaign, raising more than $7 million during the second quarter, according to her campaign. This brings her total fundraising amount to an impressive $15.6 million since the start of her campaign in February.
In addition to her personal campaign funds, Haley’s affiliated super PAC, Stand For America Fund Inc., has also been successful in raising money. The super PAC raised a staggering $18.7 million during the second quarter, contributing to a total of $34.3 million raised this year.
Strong financial position for Haley and Stand for America Fund
Haley’s campaign currently has $9.3 million in cash on hand, while Stand for America Fund boasts an impressive $17 million. Together, they have a combined total of $26.3 million in cash available to support Haley’s presidential bid.
Furthermore, the Haley campaign proudly announced that it has received close to 160,000 donations from all 50 states, surpassing the donor requirements set by the Republican National Committee for the first GOP debate. The top three states leading in donations are South Carolina, Florida, and Texas.
“Nikki is grateful for the groundswell of support from nearly 160,000 donations from all 50 states. Voters want their next president to take on China, speak out against socialism at home and abroad, and provide a vision for a strong and proud America,” said Haley campaign communications director Nachama Soloveichik.
Haley has successfully met the requirements set by the RNC for the first primary debate, which will take place in Milwaukee on August 23. These requirements include a minimum of 40,000 unique donors with 200 donors from at least 20 states.
However, Haley faces tough competition from her top two 2024 rivals, former President Donald Trump and Governor Ron DeSantis. Trump’s campaign announced an impressive fundraising amount of over $35 million during the second quarter, despite his legal challenges. Meanwhile, DeSantis’s campaign reported raising million in just six weeks, although it falls short of Trump’s fundraising efforts.
