Hannity Asks Trump If He’s Considering A Run For President In 2024

Former President Donald Trump said he was strongly considering a 2024 run during a Monday night interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity.

“Are you running again in 2024? What are the odds?” Hannity asked Trump during the interview.

“I got tremendous numbers. Nobody has ever gotten the numbers I got. No sitting president has come even close,” Trump said. “There’s more popularity now than there was the day before the election because they see how bad things are at the border.”

“They see what’s going on. They see that their guns are going to be gone, their Second Amendment. Their taxes are going up. Regulations are going through the roof. Jobs are going to go out.” (RELATED: Trump Calls On Biden To Reinstitute His Administration’s Travel Ban To Combat Terrorism)

“But if they add all these regulations back, the jobs are going to be gone. Your energy independence is going to be gone. So I say this, I am looking at it very seriously, beyond seriously. From a legal standpoint, I don’t want to really talk about it yet, it’s a little too soon.”

Despite losing the race in November, Trump remains a strong favorite among Republican voters, recent polls show.

A February Politico/Morning Consult poll found 53% of GOP voters said they would vote for Trump is the 2024 primary was held today.

Another poll from Quinnipiac University found 75% of Republicans want Trump to play a prominent role within the party.

Trump told Hannity he believed the Republican-led voting bill in Georgia was “too weak” and legislators were simply scared of being called “racist.”
