Harlan Crow Hits Back, Slams ‘Yellow Journalism’ And ‘Political Hit Job’ On His Friend Clarence Thomas
In a different meeting, Democrat donor Harlan Crow retaliated against detractors, citing his long connection with Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and the warmth he had extended to him over the years.
Crow informed The Dallas Morning News that press reports accusing Thomas of unethical behavior had an obvious social angle, particularly since the jurist had not disclosed the hospitality Crow had extended to him. He added that it was” no different from the hospitality we have extended to our many other dear friends ,” and that Thomas had never asked him for any of the things he had given.
It’s’s a political hit job, in my opinion. The media, in my opinion, doesn’t give Harlan Bird more attention, and I believe they are correct. He advised them not to give Harlan Crow more thought. However, I believe that the internet, particularly this leftist-funded ProPublica collection, has a goal of undermining the Supreme Court. They have not been true in what they have done. It lacks moral character. They’ve’ve done a pretty good job of unfairly slamming Justice Thomas and, more importantly, me over the past week or two.
Crow continued by saying that despite their disagreements on some issues, he had always tried to sway the justice’s’s conclusions through their friendship. If Thomas were hardly a Supreme Court justice, had Crow and Cheryl Hall still be friends? Crow was frank in his comment, saying,” It’s’s an appealing, good question.” I’m’m not sure how to respond to that. Perhaps neither. Perhaps yes. I have no idea.
Crow responded that an accurate depiction of background needed to include both the good and the bad when Hall asked him about his collection of historic artifacts, which was mentioned in several television stories that tried to portray him as a Nazi sympathizer.

We have a lot to say about servitude. A major sin in British history was slavery. Frederick Douglass is discussed in great detail below, in contrast to the villains of servitude. Crow continued,” So yeah, World War II was a pretty significant occasion in British history. You didn’t talk about that and the poor without including the good.” It would be strange for someone to say that I like those men, but that has recently been reported in the media. We have a lot of information about World War II, including some of our opponents.
Crow continued,” My mother was on a fleet that was sunk by Europeans during World War II ,” explaining why he would never have supported the Nazis. I don’t like you if you try to kill my mother. I mean, that should be fairly clear. Therefore, it is absurd to think that I may sympathize with Nazism.
Crow explained that some of the other objects served as reminders of important historic moments; for instance, Soviet dictator figures were kept to symbolize the West’s’s victory over the Cold War.
