Harrison Ford Says New Indiana Jones Film Will Be His Last
Get ready to say goodbye to Indiana Jones, as Harrison Ford has confirmed that his next film, “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” will be his last. The film, set to be released at the end of June, will be the first in the series not directed by Steven Spielberg. The previous four films have been a huge success, including “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom,” “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,” and “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.”
In an interview with Total Film Magazine, Ford revealed that this will be the final film in the series and the last time he will play the iconic character. At 81 years old, Ford has had an incredible career, starting with TV roles in the late 1960s and early 1970s before breaking through with his role in “American Graffiti” in 1973. He then went on to star in some of the biggest films of all time, including “Star Wars,” “Blade Runner,” and “The Fugitive.”
Despite rumors of a TV show with Indiana Jones, Ford has confirmed that he will not be involved. He has been ambitious to do this film for 10 years and is thrilled to end the series with a bang. “I’ve been able to deliver amazing films developed by Steven and George over a 40-year period, and to end it not with a whimper, but a bang, has been my greatest ambition for this excursion,” he said.
So get ready to say goodbye to Indiana Jones and Harrison Ford’s incredible portrayal of the character. It’s been an amazing ride, and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for us in his final adventure.
