Heidi Klum On Wanting Another Baby At 49: ‘I Waited A Long Time’

Heidi Klum said Thursday that she’s thinking about having More children at the age 49.

The Victoria’s Secret model talked about her future family plans during an appearance on the “Jennifer Hudson Show,” Us Weekly reported. Klum mentioned that she’s been thinking about adding to her brood with current husband, German musician Tom Kaulitz, after four years of marriage.

“It depends what day it is, sometimes I’m here [for it], sometimes here [where I am not], you know?” Klum stated on the Show.

“I mean it’s a lot. I’ve done it four times. I breastfed eight months each time [with my four kids] and then I was pregnant again. Three times in a row. Again [my children are] 18, 17, 16, and then 13. Now I waited a long time, so maybe [yes].”

The “Project Runway” Star became a mother in 2004 when she had her daughter Leni with Flavio Briatore. The pair broke up shortly after the baby’s birth.

Klum married Seal, a performing artist, in 2005. He had three children with him: Henry (17), Johan (16) and Lou (11). They split in 2014. In 2019, the supermodel tied the knot with Kaulitz in a private ceremony.

Klum previously raved about her new husband’s adaptability to joining a blended family. “[Tom’s] amazing,” In January 2022, she spoke out to Us Weekly. 

“I’m sure it’s not easy to step into an immediate family, having all of a sudden four kids and teenagers. They were easier when they were younger, for sure. Every age comes with its challenges. … It’s beautiful. It’s fun. I mean, so far, so good.”

During her most recent talk show appearance, Klum discussed what it’s like now that her eldest child is in college and the others are teenagers. 

“Because with four kids — well, now my oldest daughter moved to New York. She’s going to college in New York, which is so crazy. So, one room is already empty and dark — not empty she still has her things in there, but the light is off in that room,” she ET Online, 

“So, my other three, when they have friends over, it’s like a lot of kids,” She continued. “They run all over the house, and I don’t know where to go any more myself.”
