During the debate, businessman Vivek Ramaswamy faced the most attacks from other GOP candidates, followed by Florida Gov. DeSantis and former Vice President Pence.

Fox News’ debate moderators even went nearly an hour without mentioning him, as part of their strategy to focus on other issues. However, the candidates were expected to bring up the former president’s indictments.
During the debate, the moderators briefly discussed the potential incarceration of a nominee, which drew boos from the audience. The candidates were then asked if they would continue to support President Trump as the Republican Party’s nominee, even if he was convicted.
All of the GOP candidates, except for former Gov. Hutchinson, raised their hands in support. Some hesitation was observed from Gov. DeSantis, who ultimately claimed that former Vice President Pence “did his duty” on January 6, 2021.
