History-making right track reading, ‘never been higher’ – Washington Examiner
The article discusses a recent polling trend indicating that public sentiment regarding the direction of the United states is at an all-time high, with 48% of likely voters believing the country is headed in the right direction. This figure, reported by Rasmussen Reports, marks a significant increase and is noted to be higher than the comparable sentiment during Barack Obama’s early presidency. Pollster Mark Mitchell highlighted that the nation is experiencing its highest level of happiness in over 20 years. Despite criticisms from liberal media regarding President Donald Trump’s governance and specific initiatives, such as those involving Elon musk, the polling data suggests that the public remains largely supportive of Trump. Mitchell criticized the legacy media’s handling of current events, suggesting they are disconnected from the prevailing public sentiment.
History-making right track reading, ‘never been higher’
The public continues to validate the changes President Donald Trump is making, pushing the polling gold standard “right track” to its highest level ever.
Just a week after the average “right track” reading topped “wrong track” in the national sentiment survey for the first time, the average “right track” over five days hit 48%, according to Rasmussen Reports.
“The number has never been higher,” said Rasmussen pollster Mark Mitchell. In fact, it is far higher than it was in former President Barack Obama’s much-ballyhooed first month.
It happened!

“The country is the happiest it has been in over at least 20 years,” he added.
Rasmussen, which conducts surveys daily, unlike most pollsters, averages the numbers it releases to account for blips.
But it is notable that yesterday, the right track reading hit over 50% for the first time, actually 50.74%. That almost equaled Trump’s approval of 52%.
16 years ago, the press was infatuated with a fresh new direction for America.

The numbers for Trump and support for his moves in his first full month in office come as liberal media continue to take shots at his White House and favor a handful of negative polls.
For example, the Washington media has been highly critical of Trump adviser Elon Musk’s “Department of Government Efficiency” and has played up protests calling both “Nazis.”

But the public isn’t paying much attention, said Mitchell.
“What a clown show!” he told Secrets. “The legacy media destroyed their own credibility, and yet they continue to bang on the ‘Trump is Hitler’ drum. They couldn’t be more out of touch, because the country is as happy as it’s been in all of Rasmussen reports’ polling as measured by ‘right direction,’” he added.
