Hollywood Actress Jennifer Lawrence Implies Her Parents Support Nazis Because of Their Conservative Political Beliefs
Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence, perhaps best known for her roles in the X-Men and The Hunger Games series, recently made the distasteful assertion that because her parents are Donald Trump supporting conservatives, they support the idea that Nazis are ‘the good guys’.
Lawrence spoke to the troubled relationship between her and her parents due to their differing political views – Lawrence a staunch liberal, her parents having raised her as “a God-fearing Republican” – during an interview with Variety published at the beginning of the year
Asked by interviewer Karen Valby if her folks had ever forgiven her for being a liberal, the insufferably woke actress declared, “I don’t know. I don’t really know.”
“Yeah, I mean…no,” she then asserted. “There were certain things, in the Trump presidency, there are certain things that happened over the last five years that are unforgivable.”
“And it’s been wild,” she continued. “It’s wild to disagree on things you thought you would never…there’s no way we’re going to disagree on this in 2021. White supremacy. Attacking the Capitol. Nazis being the bad guys. Or just, science. I don’t know.”
Lawrence’s disdain for Trump and his supporters is far from a secret.
In an October 2020 appearance on comedian Heather McMahan’s Absolutely Not podcast, Lawrence put forth the unfounded claim that Trump had “was an impeached president whose broken many laws and has refused to condemn white supremacy.”
“It feels like there has been a line drawn in the sand,” she accused. “I don’t want to support a president who supports white supremacists.”
This accusation is particularly outrageous considering that the former President has actively and categorically condemned both white supremacy and neo-Nazis throughout his presidential and post-presidential career.
In a 2017 news conference following the violent protests that broke out in August of that year in Charlottesville, then-President Trump declared, “Those people – all of those people, excuse me – I’ve condemned neo-Nazis. I’ve condemned many different groups.”
He later added that both neo-Nazis and white nationalists “should be condemned totally.”
Trump would also explicitly condemn extremist groups when asked by reporters in September 2020 for his thoughts on how supposed white supremacists “love you and support you”.
“I always denounce any form, any form of any of that,” he asserted. “You have to denounce.”

Of course, Democrats are historically known for omitting evidence when it comes to ‘winning’ a given instance of political discourse – and as per Lawrence, she not identifies as one.
Despite, as noted above, being raised as a conservative, Lawrence changed teams during the presidency of Barack Obama.
“I would like to clarify my voting record, which is the subject of many circulating headlines,” the Dark Phoenix actress tweeted in October 2020
. “I grew up in a republican family and voted for [Republican candidate] John McCain in 2008, but through [Barack Obama]’s presidency, and growing up to realize I was voting against my own rights, I am proud to say I am a Democrat,” she added.
Her new Democratic leanings extended to the party’s 2020 presidential candidates, now-President Joe Biden and now-Vice-President Kamala Harris.
Following their victory in the last election, the actress took to social media to share a fairly cringe-inducing clip of herself dancing in the streets of Boston celebrating Biden’s upcoming presidency.”Had no choice but to throw a party for 1,” she captioned the video.
