House GOP Accuses Treasury of Obstructing Biden Family Business Investigation
TThe House Oversight Committee is accusing Treasury Department Of “operating in bad faith” The GOP is investigating the Biden family’s finances.
House Republicans We are looking for suspicious activity reports “unusual foreign or high-dollar transactions” the president’s family while it examines the business dealings Joe Biden son, Hunter. These reported transactions are sent by financial institutions directly to the Treasury Department. This could be a clue into the GOP’s decades-long claims that Hunter Biden received political favors from his father.
DOJ REJECTS JORDAN INFORMATION REQUESTS ON BIDDEN CLASSIFIED DOCS BY CITTING SPECIAL COUNSEL.
“During the Committee’s dialogue with Treasury, you have made several excuses for Treasury’s delay regarding this production,” Chairman James Comer (R.KY) stated this in a Monday correspondence. “Given the amount of time that has passed since our initial request and Treasury’s inability to provide a projected timeframe when the SARs will be produced, the Committee believes Treasury may be delaying its production to hinder our investigation and operating in bad faith.”
The Oversight Committee will invite officials from the Treasury Department to testify in March 10th hearing regarding the delay in providing documentation. It is not clear if the department will cooperate.

Comer’s letter details multiple occasions in which Republicans requested cooperation, five times each since the start of the new Congress. Because the GOP did not control the committees in January, federal agencies didn’t have much incentive to grant its requests.
