House Judiciary Committee Launches Investigation Into Biden Documents Scandal
Friday’s House Judiciary Committee announcement was made about an investigation into the President Joe Biden‘s handling of classified documents.
Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland demanding documents and communications by January 27.
Among the records sought by the lawmakers were documents and communications related to the appointment of Robert Hur as special counsel.

Garland announced that he would be retiring on Thursday. Hur to investigate Biden over classified documents that were found in an office in Washington, D.C., and in his home in Wilmington, Delaware, which dated back to Biden’s time as vice president.
