House Republicans Demand Details on Hunter Biden’s ⁣Use of Air‍ Force Two

The House Oversight Committee, chaired by Rep. ​James Comer (R., Ky.), is seeking flight records from the National Archives to shed ​light on Hunter Biden’s use of Air Force Two during his ​father’s vice presidency. This request follows a report⁣ by Fox News revealing ⁣that the first son accompanied then-Vice‍ President‌ Joe Biden on trips to at least 15 countries.

“Then-Vice President Biden’s misuse of Air Force Two and Marine Two⁢ is indicative of yet another way ⁣in which the President has abused his various offices of public trust and wasted taxpayer money to benefit ⁢his family’s enterprise, which consisted of⁢ nothing more than access to Joe Biden himself,” stated Comer and committee member Byron Donalds‌ (R., Fla.) in a letter to the National Archives.

House Republicans have set a deadline of ⁢September 13 for a response as they continue their investigation into the president’s involvement in his son’s business affairs.

During the time when Hunter Biden was actively pursuing overseas business deals, he traveled on Air Force Two to‌ various ⁤destinations around the world, including Europe, Asia, and Africa. In an email ‍recovered from‍ Hunter Biden’s laptop, he even‍ suggested “catching ⁢a ride” with his father to Europe in order to meet Serbian government officials ‌with his business ⁤partner.

Furthermore, recent reports indicate that the National Archives‌ may‍ possess⁢ over 5,000 emails in which then-Vice President Joe Biden used pseudonyms while discussing both government and personal matters.

In a May ⁢2016‌ email sent to Biden’s alias account under the name⁤ Robert Peters, a​ staffer for the then-vice president discussed an upcoming phone meeting between Biden ‌and‌ then-Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko. Notably, Hunter Biden, who was serving on the board of Ukrainian energy giant Burisma Holdings at the time, was copied on ⁢the email.
