House Republicans in 2024 seek to expand narrow majority

Top Democratic targets have begun to emerge among the 18 House Republicans who won Biden-won House seats. Many first-term Republicans and many freshman won in 2022 by narrow margins. Reps. Lauren Boebert and Western Slope in Colorado (546 votes), John Duarte and John James in California’s mid Central Valley 13th District (564 vot), John James and John James in Michigan’s Macomb County (10th District) (1,600 vote), Mike Lawler and Zach Nunn respectively in New York’s Lower Hudson Valley 17th District (1.820 votes)
