Redemption isn’t a religious concept. Redeeming someone dates back to ancient times. It was the practice to buy back a slave or loved one who had been abducted. This ransom was paid.

When someone or something is taken, redemption is required. This principle is still relevant today. What have we lost? What have you lost?

If you are like most Americans, your life is too full. There are many responsibilities on our calendars, including those related to careers and family activities. Many people claim that they can’t attend worship services or pray because it is too busy. They are exhausted in the little time they have.

God continually invites us into a relationship with Him, but things only change when we actually commit.

Every church across the country has a mission. They offer more Masses, additional services and many opportunities for people to grow their faith through a simple commitment to prayer during Lent. Multiple studies have demonstrated that they are effective in promoting prayer. Praying brings many benefits.

There are many options available to help someone lose their sense of self or purpose in today’s world. Exercise, diet, sports, leisure — the list goes on and on. These are suggested as possible cures for human heartache. However, the answer is so easy that many people overlook it. It is simple.
