How Ketanji Brown Jackson has fared in her first nine months on Supreme Court
During her first nine months on the Supreme Court, Ketanji Brown Jackson has earned the praise of both her liberal and conservative colleagues, who say the associate justice has “hit the ground running” since being sworn in last year.
When President Joe Biden nominated Jackson to succeed former Justice Stephen Breyer after he retired from the high court next summer, Jackson was praised by those on the Left. However, over the past several months, the newest justice has rarely been able to win the respect of those on the Right because Jackson has come to terms with her conservative acquaintances on a number of problems.

Justice Brett Kavanaugh remarked about Jackson at an event held at the University of Notre Dame in January,” She is perfectly prepared— totally ready.” She’s off to a fantastic stop, indeed.
In her first majority ruling last month in a disagreement between Delaware and MoneyGram, an on capital and check release program, Jackson received unanimity of support from the Supreme Court justices.
Jackson has, however, occasionally shown herself to be a lone beast, frequently making herself the sole contestant. The Supreme Court overturned a lower court’s decision on Monday, allowing the state clerk to be sued for advising that teenagers that they must inform their parents before attempting an abortion without their consent. Jackson most recently wrote music dissent in support of the case.

” The relationships between all nine justices are excellent, both personally and professionally.” We hardly encounter difficult situations, and we disagree on a few of them, he said. That, in my opinion, is more subtle than it is usually depicted.
