Lowell stated, “The materials reveal the extraordinary lengths Mr. Bobulinski and other individuals were willing to go to implicate Mr. Biden or members of his family in some false and meritless allegations of wrongdoing.”
Lowell specifically pointed out that Bobulinski lied about attending a 2017 meeting between Hunter Biden and Chinese oligarch Ye Jianming in Miami.
Bobulinski has offered to testify publicly before Congress in response to Lowell’s letter, as reported by The Washington Free Beacon.
He also accused Hunter Biden of attempting to use the Justice Department against him.
Amidst this controversy, Hunter Biden is also facing legal issues of his own. He has pleaded not guilty to gun charges after a plea deal for tax and firearm violations was rejected by a Delaware federal judge, according to PBS.
