President Joe Biden’s Use of Pseudonyms Raises Questions About Hidden Communications
President Joe Biden’s time as vice president may have been shrouded in secrecy, as he used multiple pseudonyms to communicate, potentially hiding important discussions about Ukraine policy and his son, Hunter Biden.
The House Oversight Committee has recently requested the National Archives to provide any communications involving three of Joe Biden’s aliases: Robert Peters, Robin Ware, and JRB Ware.
Seeking the Truth Behind Hunter Biden’s Involvement
The committee specifically wants to uncover any correspondence between these aliases, Hunter Biden, and two of his former business partners, Eric Schwerin and Devon Archer.
Currently, only emails involving the aliases and Hunter Biden are publicly available, thanks to the contents of a laptop left behind by Hunter Biden at a Delaware repair shop.
These emails suggest that Hunter Biden was kept in the loop about his father’s preparations for talks with Ukrainian officials in 2016, while he was working for a Ukrainian energy company.
For example, one email from May 26, 2016, shows Hunter Biden being copied on a message to his father about a staff meeting before a phone call with then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
While Hunter Biden was not frequently included in such emails, his presence on scheduling emails using the pseudonym “Robert Peters” coincided with developments in Ukrainian policy.
At the time of the May 27 call with Poroshenko, Joe Biden had already successfully pressured Ukraine to fire its prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, who was investigating the energy company paying Hunter Biden and his associates.
During the call, Joe Biden mentioned the Ukrainian prosecutor situation, according to an archived readout of the conversation.
On June 14, 2016, Hunter Biden was copied on another email regarding his father’s official schedule, and the following day, Joe Biden met with Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and announced aid to Ukraine.
Five days before that meeting, Eric Schwerin, Hunter Biden’s business partner, visited the White House to meet with Joe Biden’s office, as recorded in visitor logs.
Aside from these specific instances, Hunter Biden does not appear to be included in more emails about his father’s daily schedule.
Joe Biden’s Involvement in Ukrainian Policy
Joe Biden dedicated a significant amount of time to Ukrainian policy in late 2015 and the first half of 2016.
In December 2015, he visited Ukraine and delivered a speech calling for reform in the Office of the General Prosecutor and the judiciary.
Shortly after that speech, Eric Schwerin visited the White House, according to visitor logs.
The House Oversight Committee has also requested all drafts of Joe Biden’s speech in Ukraine on December 9, 2015.
Family Connections and Controversies
In an email exchange between Hunter Biden and “Robin Ware,” another pseudonym used by Joe Biden, Hunter Biden appears to advocate for a friend to secure a job in his father’s office in June 2014.
Joe Biden’s response was a prompt request for a phone call.
By the following month, Hunter Biden’s friend had landed a job in the vice president’s office and was later promoted.
Other emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop reveal frequent communication between Joe Biden and his family, using the pseudonyms, to offer support and express his longing for them during his travels.
While Joe Biden has always emphasized his close relationship with his family, mounting evidence suggests that he had more involvement in his son’s business affairs than previously acknowledged.
An IRS whistleblower has come forward with evidence of Joe Biden’s role in his son’s business, including an FBI interview with a former business partner who discussed the possibility of involving Joe Biden in a Chinese business deal if he chose not to run for president in 2020.
Additionally, emails and bank records indicate that Joe Biden’s brother, James Biden, also received substantial income from foreign sources during Joe Biden’s vice presidency, contradicting claims that Hunter Biden’s business was separate from the Biden family.
As the House Oversight Committee continues its investigation, the truth behind Joe Biden’s use of pseudonyms and his involvement in his son’s business affairs may finally come to light.
