Hunter Biden Sues Computer Repair Shop Owner Who Gave Laptop To FBI
Hunter Biden escalated Friday’s legal battle over his controversial laptop by filing a countersuit against Delaware computer repairman, who released a treasure trove of documents on the first son.
Hunter Biden’s lawyers claim John Paul Mac Isaac invaded Hunter Biden’s privacy by giving his computer files to former president Donald Trump’s allies and members of the media. Mac Isaac filed a lawsuit against Biden, as well as various news outlets alleging that Mac Isaac stole the computer.
Mac Isaac claimed that Biden dropped his laptop off for repairs in April 2019, but never returned it to him. According to Mac Isaac, the repairman reviewed the contents of the laptop and was troubled by the information he saw. He then gave a copy to the FBI in late 2019 Rudy Giuliani was then given a copy of his computer by the repairman. He later shared the documents to the FBI. New York Post Other news outlets.
Biden has a new aggressive strategy to alter the narrative about his laptop. The countersuit contains details of Biden’s foreign business dealings. Text messages and emails also show Biden’s addiction to drugs and preference for prostitutes. Biden wrote letters last month to the Justice Department asking for an investigation into Mac Isaac’s and Giuliani’s handling of the laptop. Biden, who is under federal investigation since 2018, refused to give documents to House Republicans.
Biden’s lawyers claimed that they will depose Mac Isaac, Giuliani and other witnesses as part their case. They denied that Biden had admitted that he gave his computer Mac Isaac.
“This is not an admission by Mr. Biden that Mac Isaac (or others) in fact possessed any particular laptop containing electronically stored data belonging to Mr. Biden,” The court filing states. “Rather, Mr. Biden simply acknowledges that at some point, Mac Isaac obtained electronically stored data, some of which belonged to Mr. Biden.”
Biden has avoided discussing the origins and history of the laptop in public. In interviews, Biden suggested that the laptop might have been stolen or hacked. This could be possible by Russian operatives. Biden has not denied that he gave the computer to Mac Isaac. The repairman also released an invoice with Biden’s signature that authorized repairs to his computer.
