Hunter Biden’s Real Estate Firm Received Over $100 Million From Moscow Mayor’s Wife
A real estate firm with ties to President Biden’s son, Hunter, received over $100 million in investment backing from Elena Baturina, a billionaire Russian oligarch and wife of the former mayor of Moscow.
This, according to unnamed sources cited by the New York Post.
The property investments allegedly span years and cover locations throughout the United States. The investment monies were directed toward Rosemont Realty – Hunter Biden’s firm Rosemont Seneca Partners is a sister company to Rosemont Realty, and the First Son served on the board of Rosemont Realty.
Baturina has a reported net worth of $1.4 billion and is described by the Post as “a close ally of Moscow tyrant Vladimir Putin.”
Coverage of these investments thus far has been limited to certain outlets, though it’s highly unlikely a deal involving a Russian oligarch with ties to Putin would be so carefully dealt with by the media if the real estate firm in question was linked to say, Donald Trump Jr.

Leaked emails obtained by the Daily Mail outline the portfolio deal.
The outlet writes that they “can now reveal that Hunter’s financial relationship with Baturina was far more extensive, with her firm investing $40 million in a real estate venture by Hunter’s company Rosemont Realty.”
Doing the math, that would’ve been $4 million for the Big Guy. https://t.co/NNByV8xMQk

A financial link between Baturina and the President’s son had already been detailed in a 2020 report released by Homeland Security Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA).
That report indicated the Russian billionaire wired $3.5 million in a series of payments to Rosemont Seneca Thornton, described by the New York Post as “a consortium formed between Hunter’s investment company, Rosemont Seneca, and the Boston-based Thornton Group.”
However, while the committee report described Biden’s work with Baturina as “a financial relationship,” there has been no indication of why the originally discovered payment was made or where it went.
Hunter’s lawyers have denied that particular transaction went to him.
