Director Regrets Biden Vote, Fears WWIII
Hollywood Director Oliver Stone Regrets Voting for President Biden
Hollywood director Oliver Stone, known for his acclaimed movies like “JFK,” “Platoon,” and “Born on the Fourth of July,” recently expressed his disappointment with President Joe Biden in a Friday interview. Stone, an Oscar-winning director, didn’t hold back in his criticism of the president, raising concerns about the dangerous path he believes Biden is leading the world down.
Stone appeared on British comedian Russell Brand’s podcast, where they discussed Stone’s upcoming documentary “Nuclear Now,” which advocates for the use of nuclear power to combat climate change. However, the conversation soon turned to politics, and Stone didn’t shy away from expressing his views on Biden’s actions.
One of Stone’s main criticisms of Biden centered around his involvement in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. He compared the situation to the events leading up to World War I, emphasizing the potential for a catastrophic World War III. Stone warned that if Biden doesn’t change course, dire consequences could follow.

Stone admitted that he had voted for Biden but now regrets his decision. He had hoped that Biden, as an older and more experienced leader, would bring a sense of calm and wisdom to the presidency. However, Stone now questions whether Biden is truly in control of his own administration.
Stone expressed his concern that Biden’s actions are needlessly escalating tensions with a powerful adversary that won’t back down easily. These concerns echo those of many Americans, as a survey conducted by Statista in March revealed that 45 percent of Americans disapproved of Biden’s handling of the Russia-Ukraine situation, while only 37 percent approved.
As the world watches the developments in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Stone’s criticism of Biden serves as a reminder that even those who initially supported the president can have a change of heart when they see policies and actions that they believe are leading us down a dangerous path.
