Idaho Murder Suspect Appears In Court, Plans To Challenge The Evidence Against Him

The man is suspected of Killing Four University of Idaho Students On Thursday, he appeared in court again. He waived the right to a speedy hearing and promised through his attorney that he would challenge the evidence against himself.

According to Daily Wire policy the suspect is 28 years old and faces four counts of first degree murder and one count felony burglary. His next court date is June 26, and he was placed on no bail.

Megan Marshall, Latah County Magistrate, announced that there would be “no bail at this point in time pending further proceedings.” She also asked the suspect if he understood the charges against him and that waiving his right to a speedy preliminary hearing meant he couldn’t challenge the delay at a future date.

Fox News reports that the delay was to allow his lawyers to gather evidence to contest the charges against him. reported.

He has yet to enter a plea and is waiting to see if the state of Idaho seeks the death penalty against his case. His attorneys indicated that he would likely plead not guilty. Law & Crime reported.

She claimed that the man passed her while she was standing in a. “frozen shock phase.” She claimed that he left the house and she locked her bedroom.

Police traced the suspect’s location to a white Hyundai Elantra, a cell telephone and to the exact spot where the crime occurred on the day it took place. They also learned that the suspect registered his vehicle in Washington and received Washington plates on November 18 – five days after the murders.
