‘I’m The One Who Has To Use Paper Straws’: Kylie Jenner Gets Blasted For 3-Minute Private Jet Trips To Avoid Traffic
Billionaire Kylie Jenner took some backlash this week over reports that she used her private jet for short flights — some as short as three minutes — presumably to avoid sitting in traffic for what might amount to a 40-minute trip by car.
The outrage began with a photo Jenner posted to her Instagram page, showing her and rapper Travis Scott standing in front of a parked Rolls Royce and two private jets — one of which belonged to Scott and the other to Jenner.
Jenner captioned the photo — on which comments and embed options have been limited since the backlash began —”You wanna take mine or yours?”
While some responded positively to the photo, saying that “His & Hers” private jets were among their own personal goals, a number pointed out that private jets are not known for being eco-friendly — and that it was especially tone deaf to post something like that when everyone else is being asked to embrace mitigation measures that are inconvenient or uncomfortable.
Some also pointed out that Jenner’s flight records indicated a regular habit of taking short flights — ranging from three minutes to under fifteen minutes — presumably because it was more comfortable and convenient than sitting in traffic.

Jenner reportedly bought the jet for $72.8 million just prior to the start of the pandemic.
