Reagan biographer Craig Shirley agreed, and called Trump “as strong as Reagan in 1980 and as strong as FDR in 1932. Why? Because a country in trouble demands strong and decisive leadership.”

Shirley has been close to the Trump team for the past year to write a new biography on Trump and his comeback from his 2020 loss and two impeachments. He said that Trump’s influence is already impacting everywhere Americans turn.

“Trump’s fierceness of conviction is also changing the culture; DEI programs are being dropped everywhere, the liberal lies of California are being exposed as the state burns, MSNBC’s ratings are tanking, Newsmax’s ratings are soaring, and the Washington Post‘s subscriptions are throwing the paper on the ash heap of history as several examples of the changing culture,” he told us.

And pollsters on both sides said Trump is backed by voters in his pre-election efforts.

Democratic pollster John Zogby said that Trump has a ruling “mandate” from the 2024 election.

And Republican pollster John McLaughlin agrees. “Public opinion is strongly behind President Trump because of the big mess Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are leaving him,” McLaughlin said. 

“Joe Biden’s corruption makes [former President] Warren Harding look like Mother Teresa. President Trump has his best job ratings ever, precisely because of the mess from Joe Biden he has to clean up. It will take strength and time,” he added.
