SNL star Pete Davidson, who is currently squiring Kanye West’s estranged wife Kim Kardashian, taunted West by responding to a text from West asking where he was by posting a picture of himself bare-chested and sneering, “In bed with your wife,” according to text messages posted to Instagram.

The exchange was posted on Instagram by comedian Dave Sirus; it was later deleted. West had posted a series of videos in which he spoke of the custody battle he is fighting with Kardashian over their four children. In one video he argued, “There’s no such thing as fifty-fifty custody in society today. It always lean toward the mom.”

“According to the screenshots, West claimed Kardashian hasn’t let their 8-year-old daughter, North, attend multiple events, including his ‘Donda 2’ album release or ‘Sunday Service’ musical performance that day. He also reiterated his issues with North getting an account on the TikTok social media platform against his wishes,” The New York Daily News reported.

According to the Instagram post, the text message exchange went like this:

Davidson:

Yo it’s Skete

Can you please take a second and calm down

It’s 8 am and it don’t gotta be like this

Kim is literally the best mother I’ve ever met

What she does for those kids is amazing and you are so f***ing lucky that she’s your kids mom.

I’ve decided I’m not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I’m done being quiet.

Grow the F*** up

West responded: “Oh you using profanity Where are you right now?”

Davidson, with a photo of him bare-chested, his mouth wide open and holding up two fingers in a seeming V for victory gesture, replied, “In bed with your wife.”

West: “Happy to see you’re out the hospital and rehab.”

Davidson: “Same here. It’s wonders what those places do when you go get help. You should try it. I’m in LA for the day if you wanna stop being a little internet b**** boy and talk.”

In early March, West released a music video titled “Eazy” which used clay animation to show him burying Davidson alive. The video was released only hours after Kardashian was granted legally single status in court and given the right to use her maiden name.

West collaborated with The Game on the music track. The video shows West kidnapping Davidson, throwing a pillowcase over his head, then binding him and hurling him onto an all-terrain vehicle. The video then shows Davidson bound in ropes, dragged through sand, then buried alive with only his head above the surface as West pours rose seeds over Davidson’s head, which sprouts flowers West cuts off and packs into a pick-up truck similar to the one he parked outside Kardashian’s house on Valentine’s Day.

The video ends with a possible message to Davidson: “’Everyone lived happily ever after, except Skete, before crossing out the name and writing ‘ you know who,” then adds, “JK He’s Fine.”

West’s attorney released a statement after the court granted Kardashian her new status: “Kanye’s paperwork has always indicated that his problems with the divorce [were] only procedural. … Moreover, he was always in support of the divorce only if Kim satisfied the procedural requirements to protect rights under the [California] law — the same rights afforded to any litigant going through a divorce. … Today it was determined and addressed in court that Kim initially did not have the proper paperwork to get the bifurcation of the marital status. As mentioned in our statement yesterday, Ye is focusing his entire attention to their children.”
