3 Michigan lawmakers claim COVID-19 vaccines caused their injuries.

Michigan State Representatives Share Personal Stories of COVID-19 Vaccine Injuries

Michigan state representatives Brad Paquette, Ken Borton, and John Roth recently co-hosted a COVID-19 vaccine injury town hall, where they shared their personal stories of adverse reactions to the vaccine.

Brad Paquette’s Story

Paquette, a Michigan state representative, received his second COVID-19 vaccine two months before returning home after playing hockey late on a Sunday night. He felt “a huge vacuum” in his chest and soon learned that he had suffered a heart attack and had developed myocarditis.

Paquette asked his doctors if the vaccine could have caused his heart attack and was told that myocarditis could cause a heart attack and that the vaccine could cause myocarditis.

Ken Borton’s Story

Borton, who was previously hospitalized with COVID-19, received the booster shot before a cruise. After receiving the shot, he started to notice pressure in the left side of his chest. The next morning, during his annual physical, the nurse recognized that there was an issue with his heart. After undergoing a series of tests, Borton was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat and myocarditis. A year later, he was told he had suffered a heart attack since his previous visit.

John Roth’s Story

Roth also experienced pressure in his chest after getting the vaccine and was told he had a heart attack. Prior to getting the vaccine, Roth spoke out about vaccines as a member of the state legislature’s vaccine commission but felt frustrated by the lack of conversation about potential health issues.

The town hall also featured a panel of physicians, medical researchers, lawyers, and scientists who discussed adverse reactions and potential long-term health effects from the vaccine.

Taboo Topic

Dr. James Lyons-Weiler, founder of the Institute for Pure and Applied Knowledge, noted that discussing adverse reactions and deaths from COVID-19 vaccines is “taboo at every level of our society.”

“The taboo is that no one is allowed to know about vaccine injury. And if you know about it, you’re not allowed to talk about it, especially about vaccine deaths, even when we have something as serious as myocarditis, blood clots, brain issues, and strokes,” he said.

Michigan state representative Brad Paquette hopes that sharing his story will reassure constituents who have experienced similar injuries from the vaccine that they are not alone.
