Incoming White House Chief of Staff Met With Hunter Biden at Least Three Times in 2016

Fox News Digital reports claims In February 2016, at the U.S., Zients met twice with Hunter Biden as well as Joe Biden, then-Vice President. According to emails obtained from Hunter Biden’s notorious laptop, the outlet found that Zients met with Hunter Biden twice in February 2016 at the U.S.

The February meeting allegedly involved a meetup between the Bidens, Zients, and billionaire David Rubenstein, who founded the Carlyle Group, a hundred-billion-dollar management firm.
Rubenstein also has connections to other organizations such as the World Economic Forum and Council on Foreign Relations. In 2022, he was elected Chairman of the University of Chicago’s Board of Trustees.
Two weeks later, Zients and Steve Ricchetti met with David Bradley, a D.C.-based consultant, and chairman of Atlantic Media.
Zients and Hunter Biden met with Bradley on May 24, 2016. Eric Lander was a former head of National Cancer Institute and White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and recently left the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
Details of these three meetings are not known. Hunter Biden is the subject of severe scrutiny for his foreign business dealings.
Zients was the Director of the National Economic Council during former President Barack Obama’s presidency in 2016. The position he held until January 2017, when Donald Trump was elected. He was elected to the Biden Cancer Initiative’s Board of Directors, which was launched in June 2017.
Zients held many leadership and employment posts over the years. He was Biden’s chief coronavirus coordinator between January 2021 and April 2022.
