‘Insulting Women’: Kate Spade Slammed For Promoting Women’s Spring Line With Dylan Mulvaney

Designer fashion house Kate Spade has been slammed on social media for promoting its 2023 women’s spring line with biological male trans-identifying activist Dylan Mulvaney.

In a TikTok video that has since gone viral, Mulvaney dons a blue and white floral dress while at the Kate Spade shop in New York. Mulvaney can be seen running around looking for the “perfect spring outfit.”

Mulvaney then grabbed a small white purse and showed it off before pointing out a hot-pink dress on a mannequin and grabbing a pair of heels. Mulvaney does a quick change and steps out of the dressing room in the hot pink dress, heels, and carrying the purse.

After the video circulated, conservatives called out the company for “insulting women” by using a biological male to sell women’s clothing.

Former music video director Robby Starbuck tweeted, “Welp [katespadeny] is the latest brand to tell conservative women they don’t want their business by having Dylan Mulvaney promote their products.”

“What are brands like Kate Spade thinking when they hire a man that will alienate half their client pool?” he added.

Canadian conservative Chris Elston, also known as Billboard Chris, tweeted, “Dylan ‘Mulvaney’ is now being rewarded for insulting women by [katespadeny].”

Chicks on The Right tweeted, “So, as a longtime fan of Kate Spade’s brand, I’m out after seeing this. And I suspect many others will be as well.”

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton tweeted, “Kate Spade embrace [sic] misogyny and transgender extremism.”

While another account wrote, “I’m so glad I quit carrying a Kate spade bag 3 years ago. I will never again buy Kate spade.”

“Stop cancelling REAL women, corporations!” another account tweeted. “We won’t stand for it! Over 80% of purchases of goods are made by actual women, & I’d bet that % is even higher for Kate Spade purchases. Not too smart to isolate your target audience!”

Others wrote, “As a woman, this offends me … it’s like they’re mocking real women.” And, “I’m so tired of men wearing costumes telling me what a woman likes no more [KateSpadeny].”
