Iranian Channel Posts Video Threatening Trump’s Life Over Qassim Soleimani’s Death
A popular Telegram channel affiliated with the theocratic republic’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) posted a chilling video that appeared to threaten former President Donald Trump’s life and also the lives of leading United States defense officials days after the anniversary of slain Iranian General Qassim Soleimani’s death.
The video Post Monday at the IRGC-affiliated “Sepah Cyberi” The channel shows an office in which a file about Soleimani is kept open.

The bulletin board displays photos of:
- Donald Trump was a former president of the United States
- Former National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien
- Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley
- Robert Greenway was a former National Security Council Middle East & North Africa Region Affairs senior director Robert Greenway
- U.S. Cyber Command Chief Gen. Paul Nakasone
- Former senior adviser Victoria Coates
- Matthew Pottinger was formerly Deputy National security Adviser
- National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Director Vice Admiral Frank Whitworth
- Andrew Poppas, Commanding General of U.S. Army Forces Command
- General Kenneth Franklin McKenzie, former Head of U.S. Central Command
A message states: “The perpetrators of general Soleimani martyrdom will be punished for their actions.”
The video is followed by images showing a sniper rifle and an explosive detonator. A handgun, combat drone and vile poison are also shown. Finally, there are pictures of the 45th president and other officials.

The clip ends in a chilling warning:
“We will determine how and when to punish. Coming soon…,” It also includes images of various crime scenes.
As the video ends, the IRGC’s logo and official Telegram handle appear.
The clips come in the wake of assassination threats against senior U.S. officials involved in the targeted killing of Soleimani, Iran’s terrorist mastermind responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans.
This isn’t the first time such threats were made against Trump’s life.
Last year, a video threatening the assassination of Trump as revenge for Soleimani’s killing appeared on the website of Iran’s Supreme Leader.
As The Associated Press This week, it was reported that government protection for former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as well as one of his top Iran aides was extended because of Iran’s persistent threats to them.
According to the State Department, threats to Pompeo or Brian Hook remain. “serious and credible.” Hook served as the Trump administration’s special envoy for Iran.
