Israel releases audio of Hamas terrorists realizing Gaza hospital hit by friendly fire: ‘Was it us?’
Facing Backlash, Israel Counters Hamas Narrative on Gaza Hospital Explosion
In the wake of an explosion at a Gaza hospital, Israel is working to combat the initial perception that the blast was caused by an Israeli airstrike, despite widespread condemnation from Arab countries.
The Ahli Arab Hospital was targeted on Tuesday, with initial reports suggesting a high death toll of 500 people. However, these numbers were later revised. Hamas, the terrorist group, claimed that Israel was responsible for the attack.
This claim gained traction due to Israel’s extensive bombing campaign in Gaza following the Oct. 7 massacre of over 1,400 people by Hamas terrorists. The destruction caused by the bombings added credibility to the accusation.
However, the Times of Israel later reported that the explosion occurred in the hospital’s parking lot and did not cause severe damage to nearby structures.
By the time this information emerged, several governments had already condemned Israel, with Saudi Arabia labeling the incident a “heinous crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces,” according to The Washington Post.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has since presented evidence on social media suggesting that the explosion was caused by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a group that has been launching rockets into Israel.

The IDF released an audio file of intercepted communications between two Hamas terrorists, further discrediting the Hamas narrative.
The translation of the recording revealed one terrorist admitting, “We are saying it belongs to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.”
The second terrorist responded, “It’s from us?” leading to a discussion between the two.
Eventually, one of them remarked, “It looks like the shrapnel from the missile is local shrapnel and not like Israeli shrapnel.”
According to IDF spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, Hamas exploited the blast for propaganda purposes. He stated, “According to our intelligence, Hamas checked the reports, understood it was an Islamic Jihad rocket that had misfired, and decided to launch a global media campaign to hide what really happened.”

The IDF also released aerial footage showing that the hospital itself was not directly hit, and the only damage occurred in the parking lot.
Despite these revelations, the incident has sparked a global controversy, with many questioning Israel’s actions. The IDF’s efforts to counter the Hamas narrative continue as they strive to present the truth behind the Gaza hospital explosion.

Why is it important for the international community to critically examine the facts before condemning Israel and differentiating between legitimate military operations and terrorist attacks
T the explosion was caused by a failed rocket launch by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, not an Israeli airstrike. The video footage shows the rocket hitting the hospital’s parking lot, confirming the IDF’s claims.
Israel’s efforts to counter the Hamas narrative on the Gaza hospital explosion have been met with backlash from Arab countries. Many of these countries have already condemned Israel, labeling the incident as a deliberate attack. However, the evidence presented by the IDF and the intercepted communications between Hamas terrorists contradict these claims.
The incident at the Ahli Arab Hospital highlights the complexity of the situation in Gaza. Israel has been conducting a military campaign in response to the Oct. 7 massacre by Hamas terrorists, which claimed the lives of over 1,400 people. The extensive bombing campaign has caused significant destruction in the region, making it easier for Hamas to accuse Israel of further attacks.
It is crucial to consider the evidence presented by the IDF and the intercepted communications, which clearly point to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s responsibility for the explosion. Hamas’s decision to exploit the incident for propaganda purposes further undermines their credibility.
The international community should critically examine the facts before jumping to conclusions and condemning Israel. It is crucial to differentiate between legitimate military operations by the IDF and terrorist attacks by groups like Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
Israel has the right to defend itself against rocket attacks and terrorism, while also ensuring the protection of innocent civilians. The IDF’s efforts to provide evidence and counter false narratives are crucial in maintaining the truth and preventing further escalation.
In conclusion, the explosion at the Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza has been a subject of contention, with Hamas initially accusing Israel of an airstrike. However, evidence presented by the IDF, including intercepted communications and aerial footage, clearly indicate that the explosion was caused by a failed rocket launch by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Israel’s efforts to counter the Hamas narrative are vital in ensuring the truth is revealed and preventing further escalation. It is essential for the international community to critically examine the facts and avoid jumping to hasty conclusions before making judgments or condemning Israel.
