“It’s Bullsh*t” – Manchin Dismisses Report Published by Far-Left ‘Reporter’ David Corn on Party Switch
Far-left Mother Jones ‘reporter’ David Corn on Wednesday claimed Senator Joe Manchin was considering leaving the Democrat party.
Corn claimed the West Virginia senator was reportedly telling associates he’s considering leaving the Democrat party – and he has an exit plan.
“In recent days, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) has told associates that he is considering leaving the Democratic Party if President Joe Biden and Democrats on Capitol Hill do not agree to his demand to cut the size of the social infrastructure bill from $3.5 trillion to $1.75 trillion, according to people who have heard Manchin discuss this. Manchin has said that if this were to happen, he would declare himself an “American Independent.” And he has devised a detailed exit strategy for his departure.” David Corn wrote.
Manchin hit back within hours of the Mother Jones article being published and called Corn’s claims “bullshit.”
The Hill reported:
Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) on Wednesday dismissed a report that he is actively thinking about dropping out of the Democratic Party as “bullshit” and “rumors.”
“It’s bullshit,” Manchin, a centrist, said bluntly after he was asked about a report published in Mother Jones that he has told “associates” he is actively thinking about leaving the Democratic Party.
“I have no control of rumors, guys. No control of rumors,” Manchin insisted after walking out of a lunch meeting with fellow Democratic committee chairmen just off the Senate floor.
David Corn likely floated this story on Manchin to harass him and put pressure on him because he isn’t going along with Joe Biden’s radical Marxist $3.5 trillion spending bill.
Recall, David Corn was heavily involved with disseminating Hillary Clinton’s phony Russia dossier during the 2016 election and lied about it.
