J.D. Vance Schools Bash After She Blames Him For Bomb Threats

J.D. Vance defended himself⁤ effectively during⁤ an interview with CNN’s ⁢Dana Bash, where he was accused of inciting violence in Springfield, Ohio. Bash falsely stated there was “zero evidence” supporting claims that Haitian migrants were taking geese from local ‍parks, despite existing complaints. Vance criticized Bash’s remarks as “disgusting,” suggesting they‌ were more fitting for a propagandist than a journalist. He ‍asserted that the bomb threats affecting ‍local hospitals and schools should not be linked ‌to his comments about community concerns stemming from policies⁤ of the Biden administration. Vance emphasized ‌the need to discuss these issues openly while ⁢condemning the violence. Additionally, he challenged Bash on her interviewing style, demanding⁤ she allow him to answer questions⁢ fully, unlike her treatment of Democratic officials. The exchange highlighted ⁤ongoing media biases⁢ and Vance’s rising prominence⁣ as a⁤ political ⁤figure, especially as he is considered a potential running mate for Donald Trump.

J.D. Vance solidified himself as the correct choice for Donald Trump’s running mate on Sunday when he left CNN’s Dana Bash stammering to justify the media’s attempt to blame him for inciting violence in Ohio.

Bash opened the exchange by falsely claiming that there is “zero evidence” that Haitian migrants are taking geese from local parks in Springfield, despite reporting and Federalist-obtained audio of a Springfield resident complaining to police about that very thing.

“Nobody is disputing that, that the town of Springfield, Ohio needs help,” Bash claimed.

Vance did not get a chance to note that corporate media have long covered up and disputed the bloody cost of the Biden administration’s border invasion before Bash had moved on to blaming the Republican for bomb threats facing several Springfield, Ohio, institutions like hospitals and schools.

“Instead of saying things that are, are wrong and actually causing the hospitals, the schools, government buildings to be evacuated because of bomb threats, because of the cats and dogs thing, why not actually be constructive in helping to better integrate [Haitians] into the community?” Bash asked. “Because there are a lot of employers there who say that the Haitian workers are helping fill jobs that they need desperately filled.”

When Vance finally secured a chance to speak, he pointed out that Bash’s comments are “disgusting” and “more appropriate for a Democratic propagandist than it is for an American journalist.”

“There is nothing that I have said that has led to threats against these hospitals. These hospitals, the bomb threats, and so forth — it’s disgusting. The violence is disgusting. We condemn it. We condemn all violence,” Vance said.

Not sure if CNN is going to keep inviting JD Vance on as he always seems to run circles around their “journalists.” After spending 5 mins trying to blame him for reported threats in Springfield, Ohio, Vance leaves @DanaBashCNN stammering that of course she would be treating… pic.twitter.com/6HR1PzJC1n

He tried to continue but was interrupted by Bash, who claimed the threats only happened after Trump said “cats and dogs were being eaten” from the presidential debate stage last week.

Vance, once again, did not take Bash’s bait.

“What we have said is that this town has suffered terribly under … the policies of Kamala Harris. Now, you just accused me of inciting violence against the community, when all that I’ve done is surface the complaints of my constituents, people who are suffering because of Kamala Harris’ policies,” Vance said. “Are we not allowed to talk about these problems because some psychopaths are threatening violence? We can condemn the violence on the one hand, but also talk about the terrible consequences of Kamala Harris’ open border on the other hand.”

Bash claimed she was uninterested in going “down this conversation about policy” and tried to pivot Vance back to the bomb threats, but Vance knew better.

“I talked about it because you were ignoring this community. My constituents talked about about it. It is my responsibility to surface their concerns when the American media ignore them,” Vance said. He also rebuffed Bash’s attempt to pretend that he is out of touch with the people of Springfield because he hadn’t visited there in the “last four days.”

Before Bash could try to derail the interview again, Vance pressed the anchor over whether she would “like to ask me questions and then let me answer them” or simply “debate me on these topics.”

“I noticed that when you had Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, you gave them multiple-choice answers to the questions that you asked and you allowed them to answer the questions. I’m happy … to be here to talk about policy, but if you’re going to interrupt me every single time that I open my mouth, then why am I even doing this? So please, ask a question, and I’d ask you to be polite enough to let me answer it,” Vance said.

A stammering Bash insisted that she would treat Harris and Walz the same, especially if they were “making unsubstantiated claims that had racist undertones about people eating dogs and cats … and they didn’t answer the questions about that.”

Except she wouldn’t.

When Bash hosted the first interview Vice President Kamala Harris agreed to since becoming the Democrat presidential nominee, the CNN anchor refused to ask her hard questions about the border invasion, abortion, and the other crises that plague the Biden-Harris White House. Instead, Bash swaddled the sit-down in a security blanket of a short, soft, and forgiving conversation between political allies.

Bash, like all corporate media moderators, did the same when she had the chance to press President Joe Biden during his first and last 2024 presidential debate.

When Vance took his place as Trump’s VP pick, Democrats, Republicans, and the propaganda press all grumbled that he was the wrong choice. They smeared him as “weird” and claimed he would hurt Republicans’ favorability and chances of winning the 2024 election.

Vance’s takedown of Bash on her own network, however, shows that he has his finger on the right pulse. Unlike many Republicans, he has promised an unwavering willingness to fight against deep state lawfare and corrupt corporate media.

Vance’s amplification of how the Biden-Harris open border policies are ravaging American cities further proves that he’s committed to his constituents, not keeping up a reputation among the propaganda press. Despite the corrupt corporate media’s best efforts, Vance is demonstrating that he will not be swayed or bullied out of speaking up.
