Jamaal Bowman criticizes Israel’s hostage rescue during Super Bowl
Rep. Jamaal Bowman Criticizes Israel’s Rescue Mission
Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) strongly condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli forces for their recent coordinated strike to free two hostages. The hostages, who had been held by Hamas terrorists in Gaza since the October 7th massacre, were successfully rescued in Rafah thanks to the efforts of the Israeli Defense Forces and Shin Bet.
Bowman argued that this rescue mission only proved Netanyahu’s incompetence as a leader. He claimed that while Americans were enjoying the Super Bowl, Netanyahu launched attacks and killed innocent civilians in Rafah, a place where many refugees sought safety. Despite warnings from President Biden, Netanyahu’s government, according to Bowman, is unfit to lead and should not receive support.
While we watched the Super Bowl, Netanyahu launched a wave of attacks and killed innocent civilians in Rafah – a place where many refugees fled for relative safety – despite warnings from Biden.

However, Marina Medvin quickly pointed out that even the Reuters article cited by Bowman confirmed that the military operations on Sunday were specifically aimed at rescuing hostages.
“The ‘innocent civilians’ are actually Hamas members who had kidnapped Jews from their homes four months ago and were holding them hostage. The ‘wave of attacks’ was Israel’s effort to rescue their own citizens. What is Bowman thinking? Did he even read the article he linked? Maybe he believes Hamas will cover his legal fees, but the reality is they won’t,” Medvin said.
The “innocent civilians” are literally Hamas dudes holding Jews hostage after kidnapping them from their homes four months ago. And the “wave of attacks” was Israel rescuing their citizens.
WTF is this. Did you even read the article you linked?
Maybe you think Hamas is going to…

AG Hamilton added, “The article Bowman is linking to describes the operation to save two elderly hostages tonight, something he conveniently fails to mention as he condemns the operation. We should not have members of Congress who support terrorists that murder Americans. Vote him out.”

What steps can be taken to prevent public officials from siding with terrorists and instead prioritize the security of our allies?
Errorism, and who side with terrorists over the security and safety of our allies.”
