House Oversight Committee Chairman Accuses FBI and National Archives of Protecting the Bidens

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has made serious allegations against the FBI and the National Archives, accusing them of trying to shield the Bidens from scrutiny. Comer claims that these federal agencies are refusing to confirm whether Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s son, sent classified documents to a foreign national via email.

During an interview with Fox News host Mark Levin, Comer highlighted the mishandling of classified documents by Joe Biden himself. According to Comer, Biden’s documents are scattered across at least four different locations, and there is suspicion that one or two of these documents ended up on Hunter Biden’s laptop in an email to a foreign national. However, the FBI and the National Archives have been uncooperative in confirming this crucial piece of information.

Comer expressed frustration, stating, “This is another missing piece to our investigation. We need information from these deep state bureaucracies, and so far, all they’ve done is play defense for the Bidens.”

The FBI’s lack of cooperation throughout the House Oversight Committee’s investigations has eroded trust in the agency, according to Comer. He believes that this loss of confidence will have far-reaching consequences, not just for the Biden family investigation but also for future cases where FBI agents present evidence to juries.

“The FBI has lost the confidence of the American people,” Comer asserted. “At least 50% of America thinks the FBI is somewhat corrupt and compromised.”

Comer pointed to FBI Director Christopher Wray’s initial denial of the existence of the FD-1023, a document that alleges a “criminal bribery scheme” involving Biden and a foreign national. The FBI later produced a redacted version of the document, raising questions about what else might be hidden.

“What are they hiding? I have no confidence in the FBI. We need to reform the FBI from top to bottom,” Comer declared. “At the very least, we need to significantly cut their funding.”
