CMT has not provided any ⁣further​ comment on its decision, but it’s not difficult to understand why they made it. The usual suspects on⁤ the left, such as The Daily Beast, labeled Aldean’s⁣ song as “racist” and “pro-gun,” without any​ evidence to support these claims.

However, the truth is that‍ Aldean’s song​ and video do not‌ promote “racist ⁤violence”‌ or any other ‍harmful agenda. They simply⁤ depict the⁤ violence that occurred in 2020 during the riots following George Floyd’s death.

Conservatives have celebrated Aldean’s ⁢success, seeing it as a victory⁣ against censorship. ⁢Republican ‍firebrand Rep. ⁤Lauren ‌Boebert ​tweeted, “Whenever they try⁢ and censor us, we ⁤only go‌ stronger.”

Aldean’s success has​ shown that the American ​people will not be silenced ‍or⁤ dictated‍ to by the ‍woke mob. As one ​social media user put​ it, “So the people did ‍what people do best and decided for themselves.”

It is disheartening to ⁢see critics dredge up a ⁣crime⁤ from almost ‍a century​ ago to smear ‍a white⁢ artist today.⁣ This ‌tactic only ⁤cheapens ⁢the memory of the victim and‌ undermines the progress‌ the country has made⁢ towards racial equality.

Despite the ⁣constant drumbeat ⁤of grievance from the left, Aldean’s ‍chart-topping success suggests that ⁤the limits‌ of their influence are⁤ being reached. The CMT executives who caved to the woke ⁢mob‌ may ‍think they are⁣ in tune with the times, but they‍ are only becoming more ⁣out⁣ of step.
