Jen Psaki Circles Back as MSNBC Host
An announcement by MSNBC was about as surprising as the sun rising east in an announcement. Proclamed Jen Psaki, former Biden Press Secretary, will soon launch a weekly news program as part of their Sunday lineup. The title was a curious choice “Inside with Jen Psaki.” It was described as follows: “curious” She’s not really there. “inside” a member of the administration? She was actually on the “outside” For the better part of one year. According to the network, the show will be aired for approximately one year. “leverage Psaki’s wide-ranging expertise to tackle the biggest issues of the week.” It’s hard to argue with that. She’s been in the swamp since she was a communications director, political advisor, and press secretary for many prominent Democrats. But is she able to save MSNBC from its disastrous ratings? Jen Psaki, President Biden’s former press secretary, will host a weekly show on MSNBC on Sundays. The network announced this Tuesday.
“Inside with Jen Psaki” will debut at noon on Sunday, March 19 — more than 10 months after Biden’s first mouthpiece left the White House.
“We have been working on some fun and different features … and can’t wait to dig into all of the news,” Psaki tweeted. “See you soon.”
Let’s do this…looking forward to Sunday, March 19th… We have been working on some fun and different features…and can’t wait to dig into all of the news..see you soon https://t.co/J8xQUTddoT

Psaki knew that MSNBC was inquiring about a job for her before she left the Biden White House. But it has taken until now to gather all the pieces to launch the show. Because of the conflict of interests, that news cast a pall on her final days at the briefing room. You’re already the face of the administration that deals with media. Be a part of the media? It was worse that she felt compelled to play favorites, giving MSNBC special attention when she knew they were going to be cutting her salary.
Psaki was always condescending when dealing with Fox News and other conservative outlets. (On rare occasions they were heard from. MSNBC was her clear choice. How many Republicans would you expect to be willing to appear on her show as guests? It’s unlikely that this is a tempting offer. They will be able to see how she behaved while at the briefing room lectern. How do they think she will act behind the desk at one of the most liberal networks on the air?
Jen Psaki was not very happy. “fun” As a Press secretary, I had no idea that I would miss seeing her do the White House briefings. However, I was unaware of how awful her replacement would be. Karine Jean Pierre is a far better orator than Psaki. Jen would be willing to try to fake it when asked a question she didn’t know the answer to. Her style has been replaced by “I’ll have to circle back to you on that,” And “I don’t have anything for you.”
All that being said, I’ll be watching the March 19th broadcast to get an idea of what this will look like. I guess I’m just a sucker of punishment.
