Jeremy Renner Says He Told His Family ‘Don’t Let Me Live On Tubes On A Machine’ After Snowplow Accident
Jeremy Renner opened up about his near-fatal snowplow accident during an interview that aired Thursday, saying that at one point, he told his family not to let him “live on tubes on a machine.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 52-year-old Marvel champion sat down with ABC’s’s Diane Sawyer and described what he went through after his brain was almost crushed under a 14, 300-pound snowcat, breaking more than 30 legs.
After the accident, the” Hawkeye” star expressed his fear that his life was over and pleaded with his life to prevent his daughter from seeing him. He added that he didn’t want to be kept alive by machines.
Renner remarked during a conversation with his life,” Don’t let me live on tubes and on machines.” ” Let me go now if my presence is going to be dependent on medication and medications.”

Renner once admitted to Sawyer that the accident had cost him” a lot of flesh and bone ,” and that he undoubtedly would have died if left alone.
That would have been a terrible sense for me to pass away if I had been there by myself, and I most certainly did. Renner remarked,” Undoubtedly.” Certainly, but I wasn’t by myself. I was with my adorable brother Alex.
He went on to say that despite the accident, he doesn’t want the” trauma” that happened to him to be characterized as a” negative experience.”
Renner remarked,” That is a moment I’m’m proud of because I wouldn’t let that happen to my nephew.” ” I alter the story of being mistreated, being victimized, or anything else.” I resisted being f *** ing haunted by that memory in that manner.
