Jessie James Decker Says Eric Decker Refuses To Get Vasectomy Because It ‘Takes His Manhood Away’
Country singer Jessie James Decker has recently spoken out about why her husband, ex-husband, is so special. NFL Eric Decker was reluctant to undergo a vasectomy.
“I keep asking him, ‘Go make that appointment’ and he won’t. He just won’t do it,” She told Interview with US Weekly “He says it takes, like, his manhood away from him. So he’s just gonna leave it, I guess.”
The singer, 34, answered a question about whether the couple would have any more children. “I feel like as of right now, it’s probably a no.”
The Deckers were married in 2013 and share three children. childrenVivianne, 8; Eric Jr., 7; and Forrest.
Jessie went on to say they could have more kids even though that’s not the plan. “I mean, you know, if it happens, it’s always a blessing,” She told the publication. “We’re not doing anything to truly prevent [more kids].”
The “Should Have Known Better” Singer spoke out about her desire to have her husband undergo a vasectomy, and his past resistance. “He won’t book it. He will not book it,” During a January 2022 interview, she stated. “It’s still TBD.”
The former Denver Broncos player stated that part of his hesitation was nerves, while another part was due to not knowing what the future holds.
Eric said to US Weekly 2022 that “the papers are filled out,” but that he couldn’t bring himself to schedule the procedure. “It’s a little power being taken. That’s how I feel,” He said. “I’m a little nervous about it, to be honest.”
“You don’t know where life will take you in the next five years … We have amazing kids, so I don’t want a lot of love being taken,” He continued.

“I want to raise my kids to feel proud of their bodies,” She continued. “Let’s not pick and choose what we normalize regarding bodies and be accepting of all people and children. If we wanna do ‘better’ then do better.”
