Jets’ Sauce Gardner Will To Go Back to School After Historic Season to Graduate
New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner After being named First-Team All Pro, he had a plan to celebrate his amazing rookie season in green and white.
He’s going back to school.

Gardner announced via Twitter that he would be returning to the University of Cincinnati In the hopes of graduating this summer.
“Even though I had a 3.5 cumulative GPA after my 3rd year in college, I never got to get my degree because I wanted to leave early & purse (sic) my dream of playing in the NFL…… With that being said, I’m back enrolled in classes and on course to graduate in the summer,” He tweeted Saturday.

Gardner made history when he was named First-team All Pro on Friday. This is the first time a rookie corner has been awarded First-team All Pro honors since Ronnie Lott as a member. San Francisco 49ers 1981
Last year, Gardner was the fourth pick in the NFL Draft from Cincinnati. He led the NFL in pass breakups with 20, and he never allowed a touchdown during his college career.

The Jets finished the season at 7-10, but lost six of their last six games. They were not eliminated from playoff contention before Week 17 and, if it weren’t for better quarterback play throughout this season, they might be gearing for a game.
