Jim Jordan criticizes Christopher Wray for FBI’s weaponization: ‘He was in charge’
Rep. Jim Jordan Accuses FBI Director Christopher Wray of Exacerbating Issues
During an interview on Fox News, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) boldly pointed fingers at FBI Director Christopher Wray, holding him responsible for the aggravating problems within the federal agency.
“Well, this all happened under his watch,” Jordan asserted. “He’s the guy who created the foreign influence task force. The federal court’s opinion, which was involved in censoring American speech, specifically mentioned the foreign influence task force. Moreover, he presided over the raid on President Trump’s home just 90 days before a crucial mid-term election.”
Jordan emphasized that Wray’s appointment by former President Donald Trump should not shield him from providing answers to Congress.
Wray’s Appearance Before the House Judiciary Committee
Wray is scheduled to appear before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday morning, following the release of a report that accuses the agency of utilizing its resources for political purposes. The committee alleges that the FBI violated Americans’ First Amendment rights and potentially compromised national security by assisting a Ukrainian intelligence agency in censoring social media companies.
“The problems lie within the headquarters and the Washington field office,” Jordan asserted. “That has always been our concern. Our focus will be on addressing the issues here in D.C.”

Push for Relocating the FBI Headquarters
The Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee has advocated for moving the FBI headquarters to Huntsville, Alabama. In a letter on Tuesday, he urged an amendment to an appropriations bill that would strip funding from the FBI.
“The speaker has made it clear that Republicans will not support funding for a new headquarters in the D.C. area,” Jordan stated, questioning the use of taxpayer money for a new headquarters.
