Jim Jordan Blasts White House for Lack of Transparency on Classified Docs Scandal
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), criticized Biden’s administration “lack of transparency” Over the three groups of classified documents found at President Joe Biden‘s possession.
Since November three batches of classified documents have been found at the Penn-Biden Center and the president’s Wilmington, Delaware, home — all of which date back to Biden’s time as vice president in the Obama-Biden Administration.

In an interview on Sunday with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, Jordan stated that the American people didn’t hear about these discoveries in November and December last year. They only heard about them after a news story was published.
“They can say they’re being transparent about that, but its anything but,” Jordan stated.
After the House voted in favor of creating the House, Biden was found to have classified documents. a subcommittee Investigating the matter within the House Judiciary Committee “weaponization” of the Justice Department.
Jordan, the chairman of the committee, stated that the goal was to eliminate the “double standard” Within the department.
“2020, they suppress the Hunter Biden story. 2022, they raid [Trump’s] home 91 days before an election, but they don’t tell us about Joe Biden’s classified document issue that they knew about prior to the [2022 midterm] election,” Jordan stated.
The Ohio representative’s view was similar to that of Speaker Kevin McCarthy who stated how the two situations were handled were just “hypocrisy.” The FBI raided the home of former President Donald Trump in a public display, taking over 300 documents.
Jordan said that the first step to stopping this behavior was “exposing it.” He compared the treatment of rioters in the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol Riot to the Blake Lives Matter protests and riots in summer 2020 as well as the differences in the response to actions taken pro-life activists versus pro-choice activists.
“These are the things we’re going to examine in this select committee and make sure that the truth is out there for the American people,” Jordan stated.
Democrats also voiced concern at the discovery of classified documents in Biden’s files. Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-MI), acknowledged that the situation was unacceptable. “embarrassing” Interview with NBC News Sunday “Meet the Press.”
“It’s certainly embarrassing, right?” She spoke. “It’s embarrassing that you would find a small number of documents, certainly not on purpose. They don’t think its the right thing.”
She stated that it was up to the intent of the individual to manage the situation.
“I heard you say that someone described it as two car accidents: One was an accident and the other on purpose,” Chuck Todd will be hosted by Stabenow, said Stabenow. “This is very much about how it’s being handled.”
She referred to Biden’s administration statement stating that they are “cooperating fully” With federal investigators and Robert Hur, DOJ-appointed special counsel.
“They take it very, very seriously, and they’re talking to all of the right people,” The Michigan senator stated. “They’re not going to defy subpoenas or require FBI raids to be able to get the documents.”

“It’s totally different right now, both serious in terms of having classified documents, but the president is doing the right thing,” Stabenow continued.
