“All we’ve said is, why isn’t there a special counsel for the Hunter Biden issue? A number of us had inquired because, you know, these are — the special counsels for when there’s a conflict,” Jordan stated this in an interview on Sunday with Maria Bartiromo of Fox News.

“And there certainly seems to be a conflict when you’ve got a U.S. attorney investigating the son of the former candidate for president, current president of the United States. Why isn’t there a special counsel?” Jordan continued.

Jordan wrote a letter Last week Attorney General Merrick Garland asked for documents and answers about the Justice Department’s investigation into the younger Biden. This is because of his possible interfering with U.S. Foreign Affairs.

“To date, you have declined to appoint a special counsel in this matter, despite appointing special counsels in other investigations. Your refusal to appoint a special counsel here is conspicuous in this context,” Jordan wrote in the letter.

Jordan, the House Judiciary Committee Chair, stated on Sunday that they want to find out how the judiciary works.
