Jim Jordan Subpoenas Big Tech Executives In Collusion Investigation
Jim Jordan, Republican of Ohio, is the Chairman of House Judiciary Committee. He announced Wednesday that he has subpoenaed five executives from Big Tech companies.
Subpoenas are issued to obtain documents and communications. “relating to the federal government’s reported collusion with Big Tech to suppress free speech,” according to a press release from Jordan’s office.
Subpoenas were issued to the chief executives of Alphabet and Meta, Apple, Meta and Microsoft. Twitter was not included on this list.
“The House Judiciary Committee has repeatedly attempted to engage with the five companies since last December. Unfortunately, the companies have not adequately complied with our requests,” The press release stated that.
Jordan gave March 23rd as the deadline. “Step one towards accountability,” He spoke of subpoenas.
We just subpoenaed Google, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, and Apple regarding Big Tech’s reported collusion with the federal government.
