Jimmy Kimmel set to host Oscars, says ‘there are only two ways to prepare’

Jimmy Kimmel iThe 2023 Olympic Games will be held in s. Academy Awards And he said that he wants only one thing “to be ready for anything.”

“There are only two ways to prepare for the Oscar broadcast. One is to write a ton of jokes,” Kimmel just recently said. “And the other is to try and fit into your tuxedo. So I’ve been writing and starving.”

Jimmy Kimmel is the host at Academy Awards Los Angeles, March 4, 2018, where he speaks. Kimmel will once again be the host of the ceremony, which takes place on March 12, 2023.

Kimmel hosts the 95th Academy Awards, his third appearance as host. However, this will be Kimmel’s third time hosting the ceremony. Will Smith infamously slapped then-host Chris Rock Over a joke about Jada PinkettSmith.

“I think you just want to be ready for anything,” Kimmel stated. “And you never, obviously, don’t know when something crazy might happen. And crazy things seem to be happening a lot lately. So I just want the opportunity, if something crazy happens, to be able to be onstage to comment on said crazy thing.”

This Sunday, the ceremony will be broadcast live by ABC at 8 PM EST.
