Joe Biden’s Message To North Carolina Flood Victims: Drop Dead

It took days after Hurricane Helene first began to wreak record-breaking havoc on North Carolina, but President Joe Biden has finally weighed in. The Democrat’s message North Carolinians suffering from one of the greatest catastrophes their region has ever experienced, however, was far from the compassion and empathy his party and corporate media pretend he touts.

At least 100 people are dead and hundreds more are missing after torrential flooding and landslides caused “biblical devastation” across Appalachia over the weekend.

President Joe Biden, who waited until after his restful Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, weekend to personally weigh in on the ongoing disaster, called the calamity “tragic” but failed to offer any further condolences or aid.

In fact, when a reporter asked the president if he had “any words to the victims of the hurricane,” Biden acted like his approval of Gov. Roy Cooper’s requested disaster declaration would be enough to sustain the state’s rescue and cleanup efforts as well their spirits.

“We’ve given them all — everything we have,” Biden stammered after chasing a rabbit about the differences in how Federal Emergency Management Agency and local officials measure the toll of natural disasters.

Biden insisted that feds were “on the ground ahead of time” and even promised that his administration is “working hard” to remedy the category four fallout. Yet when another reporter asked if there were “any more resources the federal government” could devote to the millions in the afflicted region who are still without power and cell service, he said no.

“No,” Biden began. “We’ve given them — we had pre-planned a significant amount of it even though they didn’t ask for it yet. Hadn’t asked for it yet.”

Biden’s claim that he already set aside a “significant amount” of aid for North Carolina comes just one week after his administration rubber-stamped hundreds of millions of dollars in additional supplies to Ukraine. You read that right. A foreign country involved in a war American taxpayers want no part in but are forced to foot the bill for will get nothing more from their government despite a rapidly climbing death toll.

The Democrat’s response to the ruin in the southeastern United States is not confidence-inspiring. In fact, it’s not much better than his response to several other national tragedies that have happened under his watch.

When the deadliest wildfire in modern U.S. history devastated Maui in August 2023, Biden offered reporters “no comment” on the tragedy, its victims, or its survivors from his ocean-side perch on the sandy shores in Delaware.

When a freight train carrying hazardous materials derailed in East Palestine, Ohio, in February 2023, Biden and his handlers at the White House did their best to ignore the crisis. Even when Biden was asked if he would visit the Americans plagued with the chemical consequences of the burn off, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced the president would only make the trek when it was “most helpful.”

Now, drowning North Carolina is on the receiving end of Biden’s cold shoulder. As of Monday, neither the alleged commander-in-chief, nor Vice President Kamala Harris, who spent her weekend fundraising in California and rallying in Nevada, have made plans to visit the afflicted region. In fact, neither have made any effort to manage the tragedy beyond offering token promises.

Instead, the millions of Americans who lost their family, friends, homes, and towns to Hurricane Helene are left to fend for themselves among the floodwaters.
