Joe Rogan has released the full transcript of his nearly three-hour interview with former President Donald Trump on the platform X (formerly Twitter) after some users reported difficulties finding it on YouTube. This episode has garnered over 38 million views since its release, with Rogan confirming that many had trouble locating it on the Google-owned platform. He shared the episode with a note addressing the search issue, stating, “Since there’s an issue with searching for this episode on YouTube here is the full podcast with Trump.” The video quickly gained popularity, amassing more than 8.9 million views within the first 15 hours. Additionally, Elon Musk, who owns X, has publicly supported Trump, even launching a super PAC to raise funds for his campaign.
Joe Rogan released Trump interview on X after YouTube ‘issue’
Podcaster Joe Rogan has now released his full interview with former President Donald Trump on X after hearing reports that YouTube users were having trouble searching for it.
The nearly three-hour conversation between Trump and Rogan has over 38 million views since being posted Friday night. However, Rogan confirmed that some could not find it on the platform owned by Google.
“Since there’s an issue with searching for this episode on YouTube here is the full podcast with Trump,” Rogan captioned the video on X.
Elon Musk owns X and endorsed Trump for president earlier this summer. Additionally, he has since started a super PAC, America, to raise funds for Trump. Rogan’s video had over 8.9 million views within the first 15 hours that he posted it.
The Washington Examiner reached out to Google for comment.
This comes just as Rogan confirmed that Trump’s running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) will also be a guest on his podcast. This will be Vance’s third interview this week by a comedian on a podcast, following Theo Von’s This Past Weekend and the Tim Dillon Show.
Rogan remained hopeful about interviewing Harris, confirming that the campaign has not refused the invitation. Instead, the campaign “offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her, and they only wanted to do an hour,” according to Rogan.
“I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin. My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being,” Rogan wrote online. “I really hope we can make it happen.”
While Vance and Trump have appeared on several comedians’ podcasts, Harris has yet to make similar appearances. She did take an interview with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper weeks ago as the first politician to appear on the show.
