Joe Rogan Slams “Gender Affirming Care” on Minors as “Childhood Mutilation”
Podcast giant Joe Rogan recently expressed his strong opposition to the practice of “gender affirming care” on minors, describing it as nothing short of ”childhood mutilation.”
Rogan made these remarks during a captivating episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” with guest Bill Maher, where they delved into discussions about politics and the concept of wokeness.
“What truly frightens me is what they’re subjecting children to,” Rogan passionately stated. “It’s absolutely terrifying that they label it as ‘gender affirming care’ when, in reality, it’s nothing more than childhood mutilation. How can you truly comprehend the permanence of such decisions when you’re only seven years old? You can’t get a face tattoo, you can’t go to war, you can’t get married. There are valid reasons for these restrictions. You’re simply too young.”
Rogan further criticized the idea that children should have the ability to make life-altering choices like taking hormone blockers, which have irreversible effects on the body. He debunked the notion that these changes can be easily reversed, emphasizing the impact they have on a developing body.
“Imagine taking estrogen while your body is still developing, blocking testosterone. These actions will undoubtedly have profound effects on your body,” Rogan explained. “You may end up with a micro penis. The changes that occur during puberty cannot be undone by simply stopping the treatment. It’s a permanent alteration.”
Highlighting the dissatisfaction and lifelong regrets experienced by many individuals who undergo transgender procedures, Rogan questioned the lack of consideration for their well-being.
“Sure, if you’re content with the consequences and it doesn’t bother you, then fine. But how many people aren’t happy with the outcome? How many of them are young? How many detransitioners have shared their harrowing stories? It’s absolutely insane that discussing these concerns automatically labels you as a monster or a bigot.”
