Joe Rogan Takes Surprising Stance On Bud Light Controversy
Joe Rogan, the host of “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, surprised many by supporting Anheuser-Busch’s marketing campaign despite its use of a controversial transgender influencer, Dylan Mulvaney. During a conversation with comedian Sam Tallent on the podcast, Rogan noted that Bud Light was just trying to reach out to an additional demographic with its campaign. Rogan likened the situation to a hypothetical one involving a popular cheesecake that had been embraced by a radical group like Antifa. Rogan also spoke about Kid Rock’s response to the campaign, saying that he liked “wild people” who take strong positions.
While Rogan expressed support for the Bud Light campaign, he also found the controversy surrounding it funny as he thought it was blown out of proportion. He said that despite the backlash, the campaign was not selling anything and was just a can with the influencer’s face on it. Rogan also questioned where Kid Rock would go if he boycotted all companies that supported LGBTQ+AI issues, saying that no company could be completely neutral on the issue.
