Joe Rogan Offers $1.5 Million for Charity Debate
In a bid to promote open discussion, Joe Rogan is offering a large sum of money to be donated to charity for vaccine scientist Peter Hotez to debate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Rogan’s initial offer of $100,000 has now skyrocketed to over $1.5 million, thanks to contributions from influential figures like Pershing Square CEO Bill Ackman and philanthropist Steve Kirsch.
Rogan extended the invitation to host the debate on his popular Joe Rogan Experience podcast after Hotez accused him of spreading misinformation for featuring RFK Jr., a vaccine critic and presidential candidate.
Despite the growing amount of money at stake, Hotez continues to decline the offer, leading former Twitter CEO Elon Musk to suggest that the scientist fears losing the debate.
