Kamala Harris celebrated National Voter Registration Day by urging Virginia college students to become political activists. On Tuesday, George Mason University students were greeted with a lecture from Harris about registering to vote.
“When you vote, it matters when you get things done. You all ordered that there would be certain things that would happen as a result of your work in that 2020 election,” stated Harris. “Those things are on the path to get done, but we need you to stay active.”
After, Harris urged the young students to become activists. However, things took a turn when she attacked the recently implemented Texas Heartbeat Bill. She then claimed that “women in power really matters” and bragged about surface-level diversity in her administration.
Our nation is stronger when everyone participates, and weaker when anyone is left out. As we celebrate #NationalVoterRegistrationDay, we must continue the work of protecting the fundamental right to vote.

This comes as a growing number of college students reported liberal bias on their campus, with many conservative students saying they feel marginalized.
