Kamala Harris pushed voter registration to young college students for National Voter Registration Day. She visited George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia on Tuesday to encourage the students to vote by claiming our nation and democracy was stronger when everyone participated.
“When you vote, it matters when you get things done, you all ordered that there would be certain things that would happen as a result of your work in that 2020 election,” Harris stated. “Those things are on the path to get done, but we need you to stay active.”
However, Americans have called out Harris and the rest of the Biden administration for endeavors such as urging them to pay attention to the border crisis in Del Rio, Texas.
Our nation is stronger when everyone participates, and weaker when anyone is left out. As we celebrate #NationalVoterRegistrationDay, we must continue the work of protecting the fundamental right to vote.

Harris went on to profess voting rights, civil rights and human rights were on the line for the American people.
