50% of American voters have an unfavorable view of Kamala Harris, according to NBC News Poll.
Vice President Kamala Harris’ favorability among Americans has hit a new low, according to a recent NBC News survey.
The poll (pdf), published on June 26, reveals that out of 1,000 registered voters surveyed between June 16 and June 20, nearly half of them (49 percent) hold a negative view of Harris. Only 32 percent have a positive view of the vice president.
These results give Harris a net rating of -17, the lowest ever recorded for a vice president in the history of the NBC News poll.
For comparison, in October 2019, 38 percent of respondents had a negative view of then-Vice President Mike Pence, while 34 percent had a positive view of him.
Pence recently entered the race for the 2024 Republican Presidential candidate.
In December 2020, a survey of registered voters found that 34 percent had a positive view of then-Vice President Joe Biden, while 33 percent had a negative view.
In May 2003, former VP Dick Cheney received a positive view from 47 percent of registered voters, compared to 24 percent who viewed him negatively.
These findings align with the latest RealClearPolitics aggregate, which shows Harris with an average unfavorable rating of -15.6 percent. This places her ahead of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (-6.6 percent) and President Biden (-13.7 percent) in terms of unfavorability.

‘Different Filter, Focus’ on Harris
Furthermore, Harris is not polling well among Democrats, according to a recent Fox News national survey of registered voters.
The survey, conducted between April 21 and 24, reveals that 73 percent of Democrats approve of Harris’ job performance, while only 36 percent of independents and 15 percent of Republicans approve.
Overall, the survey shows that 43 percent of voters approve of Harris’ job performance, while 54 percent disapprove. This is a decline from her 40 percent approval rate in June 2021.
In a recent Fox interview, GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley emphasized that voters are aware of the possibility of Harris becoming the next president during a time of uncertainty in the United States.
“We can’t continue down this path. And let’s be very clear if they think it’s going to be President Biden, a vote for President Biden, it’s actually a vote for President Harris,” Haley said.

White House Hoping to Revive Harris’s Image
